Alpan to reduce the use of water

Satisfaction by using Mantus on red beet

Have you ever found yourself surrounded by a flourishing red beet field?

We will get to know Gerhard, a passionate beet farmer, and his experience with Mantus, our patented suspension fertilizer powered by EnNuVi Technology.

Thanks to their rich concentration of minerals and vitamins, these colourful vegetables have remineralising and restorative properties. Not all red beets are the same: their nutrient content also depends on the growing conditions. As Gerhard explains, the application of Mantus has led to results that are also visible: the large, strong leaves and the healty tuber are a clear sign of a well nurtured plant.

This breakthrough solution is based on the complexation of bioactive polyphenols with plant nutrients: by activating and inducing the plants’ natural defences, Mantus supports the action of fungicides, increasing their effectiveness in controlling pathogens.

The agricultural production is expected to increase up to 70% by 2050.

Today, the agri-food system is highly impacting on the planet, due to the use of pesticides and fungicides, as well as the exploitation of water resources.

In such a scenario, is it possible to reduce the ecological footprint while increasing agricultural yield?

Field trials results for the ENVision project

A crucial issue for the entire agro-sector is the need to increase crop resistance at large scale, while boosting harvest quality and productivity.

Is it possible to reach these results while protecting the planet and increasing soil fertility?

We are excited to share with you an evidence of the powerful impact of #EnNuVi technology.

A 28 on-field test carried out in 4 different European agro-climate regions has demonstrated the effectiveness on the reduction of the environmental impact of agriculture in terms of:

🥒 reduction of fungicide application

💧reduction of water consumption

Results were evident on a wide variety of crops, all significant for EU culture and economy: from grapes to flowers passing by apples, potatoes, zucchini and sugar beet.

European Union has included #ENVisionProject in the LIFE funding Program, acknowledging its innovative power and the revolutionary value for the agricultural and environmental scene.

LIFE ENVision 2nd conference

Online event for the German audience

➡️🌱 Last week FertiGlobal organized a new online event for the German audience coordinated by the Agriculture magazine @AgrarZeitung: “Biostimulants: a milestone for integrated crop production”.

The meeting has been a great chance to discuss the crucial role of plant biostimulants in the transition towards a more sustainable agriculture. We presented our EU-funded LIFE #ENVisionProject and shared the great results achieved by our bioactivating technology EnNuVi on several types of crops.

Finding the right balance between economy and ecology in agriculture is now more urgent than ever, as highlighted by the EU Green Deal and Farm To Fork strategy. This is the mission at the heart of our #ENVisionProject and our patented EnNuVi technology: Enhance, Nurture and Vitalize crops to increase yield and ensure healthy plant growth.

Zero hunger and Climate action

“Zero hunger” and “Climate Action” are some of the most urgent sustainable development goals, according to the UN 2030 Agenda.

The agricultural sector is definitely a crucial segment if we want to change our future for the better.

Today, modern agriculture has to face a number of challenging issues: on one side the dramatic effects of climate change, on the other the severe soil pollution caused by the extensive use of pesticides and – last but not least – a growing demand for food due to a constantly increasing world population.

This is why FertiGlobal’s R&D has focused on the need for valid alternatives to the traditional use of pesticides.

Our #EnNuVi technology is the latest result of our in-depht studies: a savvy combination of bioactive polyphenols with selected natural ingredients, able to enhance plant growth from seed germination to maturity, boost its resistance to abiotic stress conditions and enlarge its life cycle.

The value of our EnNuVi technology has been recognized and awarded by the European Union, that is supporting the project within its LIFE Programme.
