India is by far the leading papaya producer worldwide. The request for this tropical fruit has been constantly increasing over the last ten years, therefore Indian farmers have expanded its production in many States to meet the needs of the market.

Here we are in Madhya Pradesh, where our new partner in the region has been following FertiGlobal’s Crop Management Program specifically dedicated to this cultivation for the first time.

Papaya trees have been treated with our crop nutrition technologies right from the beginning of the season, last Autumn.

Thanks to the bioactivating action of our solutions plants have grown healthier developing a much better resistance to nutritional deficiencies of important elements such as boron and calcium.

FertiGlobal’s team operating in South America has recently visited a beautiful avocado plantation together with one of our Mexican partners.

Avocado growers strive to keep up with the production pace required by the ever-growing demand for this fruit, so it is crucial to make plants strong enough to cope with diseases and climatic stress that could decrease the harvest.

This is where our bioactivating technology EnNuVi comes in! This visit has been the perfect occasion to show farmers how EnNuVi can significantly improve the quality and quantity of their avocado yield.

The Apple town in India

Do you know there’s a place in India known as the Apple Town?

It is the city of Sopore in Northern Kashmir, where the second largest fruit wholesale market in Asia is held.

February and March are crucial months for local apple farmers: it’s time to clean the orchard, prune plants and start the first applications of fertilizing solutions.

FertiGlobal has made sure the Indian farming season can begin in the best way for our main partner operating in the region!

Our advanced bioactivating technologies have been delivered right on time and our local team has visited the apple orchards together with our partner. They have had the chance to provide farmers expert advice on the best timing and application rates of our solutions.

Of all countries in the world India is the most affected by climate change and its entire agricultural sector is striving to cope with bad consequences.

In this brief video you will hear the experience of a local farmer who was about to lose his whole yield due to high temperatures and a massive rainfall that struck his banana field.

After only 5 days from the first application, bananas already started growing with new green leaves.
