In India offerings of flowers and fruits for the birth of Rama, incarnation of Vishnu

Rama Navami – the Hindu spring festival

💐 Have you ever heard of the Hindu spring festival of ‘Rama Navami’?
This Indian celebration is dedicated to the birth of Rama, incarnation of the god Vishnu.
At Rama Navami, the house is decorated and offerings of flowers and fruits are placed on the family shrine.
Today we are taking you to Gujarat through these beautiful pictures taken by one of FertiGlobal’s local partners. The very first bunch of bananas harvested this season has been donated to ‘Lord Rama’.
Our thoughts are with all our Indian friends who are currently living an extremely tough time due to the spread of the pandemic. 🙏
The beautiful smiles of this family surrounded by green banana plants are certainly a boost of positive energy. Have a look at the photo gallery!

Activities are going on to test the efficacy of EnNuVi Technology

The second year of the LIFE ENVision Project has started

The second year of our LIFE #ENVisionProject has officially started! 🎉
Here we are in the special greenhouse of our hub in Larderello (Italy), where a new trial is taking place. Our R&D team is testing the ability of our bioactivating technology EnNuVi to protect crops against water stress.
💧 These young tomato plants will receive 50% less water along their lifecycle.
At the end of the test, we will measure yields both in terms of quantity and quality, based on the presence of polyphenols in the fruits.
Have a look at our team transplanting the little tomato plants 🍅
We can’t wait to share the first results with you, stay tuned!
Look at that video about tomato transplant.

22nd of April is the day of our planet

World Earth Day

🌍 “Restore our Earth”.
This is the claim of this year’s World Earth Day, the annual event held every 22nd of April to show support for the protection of our planet.
In a year struck by the global pandemic, protecting our environment and raising awareness on the threats posed by climate change has become more urgent than ever.
As we know, agriculture both contributes to climate change and is affected by it. This is why the whole sector has such a crucial role in this huge issue.
Today we would like to remind once again the importance of moving to a more sustainable and eco-friendly global agriculture.
Decreasing pesticide use and water consumption thanks to new generation fertilizing solutions is the only possible way to future-proof the sector for the sake of our planet and us all. 🌍👫
At FertiGlobal, we are always #SowingForTheFuture of our Earth.

FertiGlobal’s Technology with excellent chelates

Folikel Technology – how it works

Roots are the real cornerstone of any plant: they anchor crops to the soil and feed them transporting all nutritive elements.
When soils are alkaline, though, roots need a little extra help to enhance the absorption of nutrients.

➡️ This is when FertiGlobal’s Folikel technology is especially recommended! This chelates based technology protects micronutrients in the soil preventing oxidation caused by excessively high pH.
Folikel allows a faster and more efficient assimilation of nutrients from roots to leaves, with an overall beneficial effect on the whole plant. 🌱
The development of highly advanced chelates based crop nutrition technologies is one of FertiGlobal’s specialties. We produce them according to the highest quality standards in our proprietary plant in Argentina and in a newly inaugurated facility in our Italian hub in Larderello.
You can learn more about Folikel and the rest of our rich technology line-up on our web site!

In the Brazilian vineyards during a crucial phase of grapes lifecycle

Veraison – the main season of grapes

🍇🍇🍇 ‘Veraison’ is that amazing time of the year when grapes start turning red.
This crucial phase of the lifecycle of grapes marks the onset of ripening and the upcoming harvest season.
🧑‍🌾 Here we are in Brazil, where our colleagues from FertiGlobal’s local team have recently been visiting local farmers in their vineyards. It has been a pleasure to provide our expert on-field support to our partner in such an important moment of the season.
Our dedicated Crop Management Program has been followed at every stage of the lifecycle here. These healthy vines and profusely grown fruits are the proof that FertiGlobal’s advanced bioactivating technologies are performing wonderfully! ✨

FertiGlobal’s DNA – a long history can be told

More than 200 years of history behind FertiGlobal

🔬A constant push towards innovation has always been at the core of FertiGlobal’s DNA.
FertiGlobal’s mother company, Larderello Group, was founded two centuries ago in Tuscany (Italy). Here our founder Larderel was the very first to exploit the natural resources of the territory, such as hot water springs and the local high concentrations of chemical elements, including boric acid.
For decades, the Larderel family hold a worldwide monopoly for boron, but in the early 1900s – when the American companies entered the market – they figured it was time to expand the production.
💡The solution was right under their feet. The steam produced by the geysers could be used to produce an increasingly requested good: electric energy! This is how the first plant in the world capable of transforming geothermal energy into electricity was born.
🌱Today – as you know – we’re working on another crucial revolution: making the global agriculture sector more sustainable thanks to cutting-edge crop nutrition technologies.
➡️ When there’s a will, there’s a way: stay tuned and don’t miss our updates on this fascinating journey!

LIFE ENVision project – the first results

EnNuVi effects after the first year of LIFE ENVision

🌍 At FertiGlobal, we believe that providing safe food to the world population while taking care of our Planet is possible and we work hard every day to prove it.
This is the aim of our #ENVisionProject, funded by the EU LIFE Programme and based on our patented bioactivating technology EnNuVi.
🌱 💧We have some very ambitious goals to achieve by 2023, such as reducing the use of agrochemicals by 65% while enhancing soil fertility and decreasing water consumption thanks to EnNuVi.
One year after the start of this project we are very proud of the results achieved! In the last twelve months our R&D team has conducted field tests and technical trials aimed at proving the efficacy of our technology:
🔹 we have conducted 11 trials in 5 EU countries and 4 different climate zones
🔹 we have tested EnNuVi’s effectiveness on 7 different crops: sugarbeet, wheat, tulip, lily, tomato, corn e soybean
🔹 we have realized 8 different formulations of our EnNuVi technology based on various essential nutritive elements
➡️ Have a look at this map to see our actions more in detail!
