Better tulips and Narcissus with EnNuVi Technology

When you think of the Netherlands, beautiful tulip fields are definitely one of the first things that come to your mind.

Today we are taking you there!

We are currently carrying out an important field trial on Tulips and Narcissus aimed at proving the efficacy of our bioactivating technology EnNuVi on these flowers.

In July, at the end of the test, we will compare the results achieved by our EnNuVi with traditional crop protection treatments.

For now, we can proudly say flowers treated with EnNuVi have grown profusely with no need of fungicides and pesticides: have a look at the pictures taken by FertiGlobal’s local team!

This trial is part of FertiGlobal’s #ENVisionProject funded by the

European Union’s #LIFEprogramme.

LIFE ENVision Project to support FertiGlobal’s innovative technology

ENhance, NUrture, VItalize: that’s EnNuVi

Enhancing the nutraceutical value of fruit and vegetables is among the main goals of FertiGlobal’s #ENVisionProject.

This means improving their overall beneficial effects for people’s health. For instance, increasing the amount of vitamins and their antioxidant action.

Our R&D team has recently analyzed the results of a trial conducted on tomato plants in Spain together with our partner Agricola2000. The aim of the test was to prove the ability of our bioactivating technology EnNuVi to improve the nutraceutical value of crops.

The trial has been a success!

Plants have grown healthy with 25/30% less water

Final yield was the same as plants treated with standard methods

The nutraceutical value of tomatoes has significantly improved

Activities are going on to test the efficacy of EnNuVi Technology

The second year of the LIFE ENVision Project has started

The second year of our LIFE #ENVisionProject has officially started!

Here we are in the special greenhouse of our hub in Larderello (Italy), where a new trial is taking place. Our R&D team is testing the ability of our bioactivating technology EnNuVi to protect crops against water stress.

These young tomato plants will receive 50% less water along their lifecycle.

At the end of the test, we will measure yields both in terms of quantity and quality, based on the presence of polyphenols in the fruits.

LIFE ENVision project – the first results

EnNuVi effects after the first year of LIFE ENVision

At FertiGlobal, we believe that providing safe food to the world population while taking care of our Planet is possible and we work hard every day to prove it.

This is the aim of our #ENVisionProject, funded by the EU LIFE Programme and based on our patented bioactivating technology EnNuVi.

We have some very ambitious goals to achieve by 2023, such as reducing the use of agrochemicals by 65% while enhancing soil fertility and decreasing water consumption thanks to EnNuVi.

One year after the start of this project we are very proud of the results achieved! In the last twelve months our R&D team has conducted field tests and technical trials aimed at proving the efficacy of our technology:

we have conducted 11 trials in 5 EU countries and 4 different climate zones

we have tested EnNuVi’s effectiveness on 7 different crops: sugarbeet, wheat, tulip, lily, tomato, corn e soybean

we have realized 8 different formulations of our EnNuVi technology based on various essential nutritive elements

ENhance, NUrture and VItalize: this is the acronym of our worldwide patented bioactivating technology EnNuVi.

This cutting-edge solution is the results of FertiGlobal’s advanced R&D and is based on a unique combination of polyphenols and selected nutritive elements.

On one hand, the antioxidant effect of polyphenols naturally supports plants

On the other, an extra boost of essential nutrients such as Magnesium, Copper and Zinc – among many others – is essential to compensate the lack of these elements in crops

These tiny flowers are soon going to be tasty avocados!

FertiGlobal’s team operating in South America has recently visited a beautiful avocado plantation together with one of our Mexican partners.

Avocado growers strive to keep up with the production pace required by the ever-growing demand for this fruit, so it is crucial to make plants strong enough to cope with diseases and climatic stress that could decrease the harvest.

This is where our bioactivating technology EnNuVi comes in! This visit has been the perfect occasion to show farmers how EnNuVi can significantly improve the quality and quantity of their avocado yield.

Coping with climate changes in India

Banana management with EnNuVi and Foliflo

Of all countries in the world India is the most affected by climate change and its entire agricultural sector is striving to cope with bad consequences.

In this brief video you will hear the experience of a local farmer who was about to lose his whole yield due to high temperatures and a massive rainfall that struck his banana field.

A prompt intervention was needed to save his harvest. And this is where FertiGlobal comes to the rescue with advanced bioactivating technologies EnNuVi and FoliFlo.

After only 5 days from the first application, bananas already started growing with new green leaves.

The farmer could not believe his eyes comparing the recovery of his field with his neighbours.

Here, together with one of our partners in the region, FertiGlobal’s local team is holding technical meetings directly on-field. In this way, farmers have the chance to see the super positive effects of our EnNuVi technology on crops and benefit from the expert advice of our Brazilian team.

The audience was amazed to find out how grapes have coped with typical seasonal diseases thanks to EnNuVi’s ‘energy boost’.
