More than a jingle: beyond crop nutrition<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Crop health is the heart of the FertiGlobal philosophy. Meet a plant\u2019s basic needs \u2013 water, light, and not least nutrition \u2013 and the resulting healthy crop will not only bat away disease and pests but also repay the farmer\u2019s care through wholesome yields.<\/p>\n

Now, how about we apply the same thinking to farmers themselves?<\/p>\n

That\u2019s exactly what our team at FertiGlobal Philippines has done.<\/p>\n

In the next blog, we\u2019re going to uncover the not-so-little secret that is agricultural production in the Philippines. Think of agricultural production in South-East Asia and it will often be Indonesia that first springs to mind, but the Philippines myriad micro-climates and amazing crop diversity has created a nation of agricultural world records.<\/p>\n

Before we open the covers of the Filipino agricultural story, let\u2019s look more closely at that farmer health story. As we said, it\u2019s not good enough just to focus on crop health: healthy farmers are also vital in creating healthy, productive and profitable working farms.<\/p>\n

So full credit to FertiGlobal\u2019s Team Philippines, who have created a unique farmer-focused customer initiative: the FertiGlobal Farmers Wellness Program.<\/p>\n

Combining farmer wellness and stress relief (and adding a healthy pinch of brand engagement!) the team first created a \u2018FertiGlobal Jingle\u2019. Then they turned it into an interactive Zumba experience.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s Zumba, you might ask? Inspired by the Latin rhythms of rumba and a childhood fascination with Zorro, Colombian dancer Belo P\u00e9rez created the aerobic fitness method in 2001. It\u2019s a total body workout, but more fun and engaging.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s exactly why Team Philippines adopted it: they wanted to characterise their meetings with a simple, impactful activity that encourages movement, positivity and community participation, all in pursuit of physical and mental well-being.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s all about dancing, exercising and having fun before every gathering,\u201d says one of the team. \u201cFarmers have often been out doing long hours in the fields before they come to a technical meeting; Zumba increases energy and attentiveness, but also creates a new camaraderie and engagement.<\/p>\n

\u201cOf course, it\u2019s also memorable. Being known as the \u2018music and movement\u2019 meetings certainly helps with strengthening brand recall!\u201d<\/p>\n

That\u2019s where the jingle itself comes in. Music has a powerful ability to create memories and connect them with a time and place. Hear a favourite song on the radio and it\u2019s guaranteed that it will prompt memories of time and place too.<\/p>\n

So the team also incorporated product messages and FertiGlobal technologies into the jingle. It\u2019s an innovative approach that has helped the team increase familiarity and understanding of FertiGlobal products \u2013 and not a PowerPoint presentation in sight.<\/p>\n

\u201cEvery dance session becomes an opportunity for farmers to reinforce product knowledge while building a stronger emotional connection with the brand. The jingle\u2019s intentionally choreographed to allow anyone to participate, irrespective of age or fitness level.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt also shows how our relationship with our farmers matters, by extending it beyond mere crop productivity and into supporting their overall well-being and quality of life.\u201d<\/p>\n
